About

Hello!

Hi, I’m Taylor, a registered nurse with a certification in pediatrics, a mom of four, and the person families turn to when sleep feels impossible.

A little more about me!

I’m a mom to four amazing kids and married to my husband, Ryan. I’m very much a thrive in chaos, fly by the seat of my pants kind of person. Our house is full of love, noise, and animals. We currently have two dogs, two guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, eleven chickens, and occasionally a foster dog or two. The more the merrier, right?

I am a registered nurse with a certification in pediatrics. I graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010. I worked at UMMC on the pediatric unit for about six years, followed by a short stint as a pediatric hematology and oncology case manager. Since 2017, I have been providing telephonic education and support to pediatric patients and their families.

Like many parents, my journey into sleep training started out of pure desperation. With my first child, I was deep in the fog of no sleep until I discovered sleep training, and it truly changed my life. My husband and I sleep trained our oldest, Nora, when she was around six months old, and it felt like magic. We were all sleeping better and life felt lighter. Over the years, I have sleep trained all of my kids at one point or another, and yes, we have had to revisit it when less than ideal sleep habits crept back in. Every single time we got back on track, I found myself thinking, why did I wait so long?

Why Working With Me Is Different

The internet is overflowing with information about sleep training. There are many different methods, and none of them are secrets. What makes working with me different is the support and personalization. I take your child, your family, and your goals into account to create a plan that actually works for you. I am by your side as you implement the plan, answering questions, troubleshooting bumps along the way, and cheering you on through the process.

I am also a certified pediatric sleep consultant. I completed my certification through The Cradle Coach Academy, including fifty hours of volunteer work. This program is approved by the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants.
